Aesthetic Consultations

Dr O’Gorman has been providing aesthetic medical services since 2004. He believes that the secret lies in the consultation. An aesthetic assessment is recommended prior to undertaking aesthetic procedures. This assessment is performed personally by Dr O’Gorman. This is usually in a face to face format but consultation via telephone or video can also be arranged if necessary.

During the consultation, a medical history is taken which includes an enquiry into any medical conditions, medications, allergies, lifestyle, past aesthetic procedures, past surgical procedures, family history and a discussion of your concerns. Ideally you will attend without makeup applied or be prepared to have your makeup removed to allow for a proper skin assessment.

Dr O’Gorman will assess your concern areas, advise of his own opinion, assess your facial ratios, symmetry, profile, shape, and surface skin condition. Photography is also taken. He will then present you with his opinion and a personalised treatment plan. Each recommendation will be explained thoroughly including what to expect, mode of action, time to effect, duration of effect, side-effects, and costs. Often treatments are staged over time.

The cost of a cosmetic consultation with Dr O’Gorman is 250.00 AUD / 150.00 GBP, and this can be credited towards a treatment.
