PRP Facial
Treatment Information
PRP Facials use your own platelet cells from a portion of your own blood, rich in growth factors and stem cell activators to regenerate the skin while naturally increasing elasticity and collagen production. The skin is re-plumped and rejuvenated to reduce fine lines and wrinkles and create a youthful, radiant glow.
PRP is administered via a microneedle device or via a very fine needle manually, after numbing of the skin.
PRP facials can be used to treat:
Fine lines and wrinkles
Conditioning for aged and sagging skin
Loose or saggy ‘crepey’ eyelids
Acne scars
Neck and décolletage rejuvenation
Hands rejuvenation
The benefit of this treatment is that it uses your own blood which contains no foreign or synthetic chemicals and therefore minimises the risk for side effects. PRP facial treatment results continue to improve over a period of 6-12 weeks. The result is smoother, younger looking skin.
Do note that the quality of PRP can be variable. The best quality PRP tends to be associated with a clean lifestyle, non-smoking, nil illicit drugs, regular exercise, and a younger age. The quality of the PRP can diminish as you get older or if your lifestyle is not clean. The benefit of other collagen stimulation methods such as exosomes and polynucleotides are that they are not dependent on the donor’s health as they are manufactured by biotechnology and deliver consistency in quality.
